Capture or Record the Desktop Window using VLC

Normally people record the desktop window using some software it is not free of cast but VLC provide this feature in his player itself

How to…

1.Open the VLC media player and press “ctrl+c”

2.Then select capture mode as Desktop and set frame rate as your wise, 5 f/s is recommended

3.Press play Button,now your desktop items are displayed in VLC window

4.Then click view in menu bar and select “Advanced controls” now some controls are appear in your VLC player   

5.Click Record button in this control for record the desktop

6.To stop the record press same record button

7.This recorded video is in your “My videos” folder
